My work
I am a proudly proclaimed creative.
Throughout my life I have woven myself in and out of many art forms—from spoken word, theater, and photography to dance, mixed-media collage, and poetry.
Creativity saved my life. In fact, it has brought me back to myself more times than I can count. From as early as I can remember, it was the place that made the most sense to me. When I found the power of metaphor, I finally had a dialect to wrap around my experience of feeling so other worldly and it became my life raft for the largest, softest, most painful and glorious parts of my life.
