My approach
My work centralizes the body as a major tool for our healing. By knowing how and when to guide my clients back into their bodies, I can offer them a deeper, more integrated experience to healing. This means that in the therapy space, we are helping the logical/reasoning part of your brain to quiet and slow down so we can tune into the deeper stories and wounds your body holds. Through building a safe container, you will practice allowing the body to communicate openly and most importantly, attune to what it’s expressing. I then support you in implementing tools to clearly communicate back. Everything begins with learning how to trust our body.

I believe that healing happens in relation-- whether to self, other, or the environment. Therefore, I prioritize creating a conscious relationship with my clients. It’s important to me that every person I am in space with feels my authentic energy, love, (humor!) and care. I feel passionately about dismantling the Euro-centric approach to therapy that the client comes to a therapist for their “answers.” I don’t have your answers — YOU have your answers, and it’ s my job to help guide you back to them.
I believe learning, growing, and healing are meant to be ever evolving. I believe we all innately hold a deep inner compass that’s purpose is to lead us back to a source of expansive love and connection to all beings. I also feel passionately that therapy is meant to be a space offering you the freedom and safety to explore and liberate yourself from oppressive systems such as capitalism, racism, anti-Blackness, sexism, ableism, transphobia, xenophobia, and fat-phobia.
Therefore, prioritizing this journey is deeply important to how I hold the therapeutic space. I make it a point to stay active in my own practice of dismantling these structures and white supremacy within myself while immersing myself in communities that prioritize this healing. As a queer woman myself, I am a fierce advocate of the LGBTQIA+ community and hold sacred space for working with clients holding those identities.
