Hello sweet soul!
I ‘m Anna.
Through the experience of the expressive arts, I center the expansion of the imaginative realm in the therapy space by using artmaking, writing, music, movement, somatic awareness, mindfulness practices and creative play. In my practices, I prioritize holistic embodiment — nurture of the Mind, Body, and Spirit so you feel empowered to grab hold of your deepest desires through a lens of justice, creativity, imagination, and radical vulnerability. My practice is focused on guiding individuals and couples+ back to their most authentic and empowered selves by exploring our unprocessed wounds that keep us stuck to unlock the path of our most intimate desires.
As a deeply relational therapist, I feel passionately about supporting you in connecting to your story and empowering you on the journey of stepping fully into your truth. I prioritize keeping a safe, relational, and non-judgmental space that allows you to open deeper than you ever have before.

My story
Scorpio sun | Cancer moon | Capricorn rising
Ever since I can remember, I have felt like my emotions were too big for my body— like every little shift of energy within myself and the external world would hit me like a ton of bricks. I felt like an alien. And I was so confused why those around me didn’t seem impacted by energy and emotions the way I was— almost as if I had been made incorrectly because the narratives I was receiving from our culture were showing me, I was “too much.”
The arts were my saving grace. I turned to poetry, drama, dance, visual art—anything I could grasp that allowed me to pour my feelings into the safety net of creativity. By leaning on metaphor, I finally felt I was able to communicate my experiences with more clarity for both myself and those around me. I realized my sensitivities were actually a gift I merely needed to harness and over many heart deaths and rebirths, I finally fell deeply in love with myself— my whole, bubbling-over-the-surface-big-feeling ancient self.
Before becoming a licensed therapist, I spent time as a teacher and artist— traveling solo through Ghana, Nepal, India, Thailand, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. I learned about myself through the lens of claircognizance/clairsentience and gained helpful language such as the term, “Highly Sensitive Person,” to describe my experience. I then completed certification in Reiki energy healing and became a published writer until finally I found Expressive Arts Therapy and knew it was meant to be the next step of my journey.
The fact that I now spend my days supporting other big feelers in coming home to their most authentic, centered, and empowered selves through the magic of creativity, is the most beautiful full circle dream I will forever be in awe over.
I can proudly say, I AM an alien! A powerful one.
And thank all the goddesses, because there is no one or no way, I’d rather be.
My background
My educational background is in Expressive Arts Therapy which means that I hold an advanced understanding of how to implement creative tools into therapeutic space. This does not require you to be an artist to work with me, it just means that I prioritize a style that expands past the limits of just talk therapy— activating both hemispheres of your brain, allowing a deeper, more long-lasting healing experience to occur. I am a passionate believer of holistic health and over the years—always through my own healing journeys, I have developed deep interest in things like neuroscience (specifically the links between the brain and the subconscious) as well as the vast health benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Therefore, I continue to spend time investing in my education about topics such as these that not only support my own ability to thrive in my body and mind but additional ways I can show up for my client’s holistic wellbeing.
Outside of being a therapist, my experience is expansive — I’ve held roles as a teacher, facilitator, artist and photographer while living in a variety of countries such as Guatemala, Costa Rica, India, Thailand, Nepal and Ghana—all of which, alone. I am also a published writer and a certified Reiki Practitioner, which means I hold a knowledge of how our energetic bodies impact our ability to heal, connect, and process. Additionally, I identify as a Highly Sensitive Person. Because of this personal experience, I provide a unique lived perspective of what it’s like to navigate the world with an intensely sensitive (I like to claim it, powerful) nervous system.
When I’m not working with clients, I am happiest creating in all forms, moving my body, being in nature, traveling, diving deep with my loved ones, expanding my knowledge about holistic health and exploring life with my beloved partner!
